3 Steps to Playing Hockey

  • Learn to Skate

    Join Aussie Skate School followed by an Aussie Skate Hockey Class or self-learn at public skate sessions available daily

    • From 3 years of age
    • Enquire at the Boondall ice rink

  • Come & Try

    Free Come & Try program held once a year in February for ages 5-18 with all gear provided. Run by the Brisbane Buccaneers and proudly brought to you by Ice Hockey Queensland and the Queensland Department of Sports and Recreation.

  • Join Our Club

    Become a member of the Brisbane Buccaneers Ice Hockey Club:

    • Junior League (5-18yr)
    • Senior League (18yr +)
    • Junior training and games – Saturday night and Sunday afternoons
    • Senior games – Tuesday and Friday night and Sunday afternoon till late
    • Games throughout the year
