Our own Alex Hall and Eric Sewell  & their team won gold in  IIHF 2010 World U20 Championship Div III, that took place in Istanbul (Turkey)  on the 4^th of January 2010.  Congratulations and well done to both of them.

2010 New Zealand Master Games

The Buccaneers would like to congratulate the Brisbane Rusty Blades team that went to the 2010 Master Games in  Dunedin, New Zealand on Feb 5th, 2010. They were defending champions, after winning the New Zealand Masters in Feb 2008, and not only held on to their title with another gold medal, but also managed to not get a single goal scored against them in the whole tournament!! Well done, Blades and especially goaltender Steve Voykin !!!. Thank you very much to manager Ron Kemp for taking care of the team on both occasions!!!
